Posting Cash Sales In Xero Online Accounts

Folks, I am looking at Xero online accounts at the moment and cannot seem to figure out how to post cash sales since we are a retail business and so no customers needs to be setup. It should be noted that when I post a sale I want it to go to Cash i.e Dr Cash Cr Sale When we lodge the funds I want to be able to Cr Cash Dr…

Folks,
I am looking at Xero online accounts at the moment and cannot seem to figure out how to post cash sales since we are a retail business and so no customers needs to be setup.
It should be noted that when I post a sale I want it to go to Cash i.e
Dr Cash
Cr Sale

When we lodge the funds I want to be able to
Cr Cash
Dr Bank

Does anyone know how to do this?
It should also be noted that not all the funds in the cash account will be lodged as their will be some drawings.

I don't know Xero but can you not just post them as a journal?

Credit sales.
Debit Cash.

VAT may also need to be considered.
