How do I get hair dye off my forehead and ears. Its permanent dye. Help!

If it's only been there for half an hour or so and you have a little dye left then rub that it and it comes off..........some people say rubbing hairspray in gets it off 2.

Anytime I'm dying my hair I rub vasaline on my forehead, behind my ears, on my neck and I follow the hair line down to my cheeks. It keeps the hair dye from sticking and all I have to do is wipe it with a baby wipe and it's gone
