Laptop keeps crashing blue screen !!

    I bought my laptop approxmatly six months ago, it's a Acer, every second day it keeps crashing, a blue screen appears sayin dumping and has this happened before, i lose all my data ..

    Has this ever happened anyone else? and what is the meaning of it ? and what should i do?

    Any more information?

    It could be many things, from Overheating, to Virus to.. etc..

    Next time you get a bluescreen, make sure you write down all the error codes.
    If you have them they'll tell you what went wrong, but they're only of use if you know what they are.

    Hi,

    The first post there by Allyall is quite important. If you can give us more information about when the problem started, at what point do you get the bluescreen error etc. Also, to check whether it is a software issue you could try booting into safe mode (Press F8 when the computer is first booting up and you will be presented with a startup menu - choose 'Safe mode'). If you can boot into safe mode and the problem does not recur then it would suggest a software problem.
