my brother left the iron on and went on the piss last year, the iron was touching the window cill which was plastic, all that happened was a big brown burn on the cill and a bollocksed iron..

moral of the story, it's grand, lads.

I left the Iron on yesterday and drove across the country. Everything was fine when I came back because I bought a piece of shyte Iron.

Go pick the iron up OP, and hold the flat side to your face. If it doesn't hurt, then YES you remembered to turn it off.

If it sticks to your face, you clearly forgot to turn it off. Stick your face under the nearest tap then seek medical attention immediately.
