Surely this is illegal? I was shocked and insulted by it.

One of her friends is doing a similar job for something like €4 per hour.

Can I report these people to somebody? What should I do?

You should get a girlfriend with a decent job. How will she be able to pay her way on dates or buy you Christmas or birthday presents?
