    Tag Teamed, Lolz. :pac:

To summarise so, you don't anything about what happened and are just gleefully regurgitating rumours while at the same time keeping an air of mystery in the vain attempt someone might actually take you seriously.

With that established, carry on gents.

Certainly not against the rules to discuss if a retailer got raided by the police and maybe shut down.

As a fair few people on this forum buy kit from the shop, then I would say it's pretty relevant and important.

    So again, lets have it?

Ok from what i have read (and was quickly deleted from Alsat and is on other forums if you want to look) is that on Tuesday the 22nd the Alsat shop was raided by the Police and Trading Standards... (Eye witnesses accounts on DMs forum which was quickly deleted but is available if you google and search around)

All stock was seized and the shop was therefore shop down...

Subsequently it happened that Service+ went down around the time...

There staying firm on Alsat that there was a fire but as you can see for yourself a mate of mine on another forum took a photo Thursday afternoon of the Shop and there is no sign on damge... Also the records of the fire department (open to the public online) in that area have been checked and there are no records of a fire...

As of Service+ i can't comment any further hear as its against the rules..

All of the above is what i have read and cannot stand over any of it!

Why is it that every time that alsat mentioned on this forum it almost always rises an argument?

    Yeah heard all that too.

Re the fire, it only takes a bit of smoke to set off a sprinkler system, taking a picture from the exterior would prove nothing either way to be far. As for public record, I'd image it take longer than a few days to update it.

That said, it would probably be best for anyone thinking of purchasing off them to hold off for a couple of weeks.

    Records updated pretty fast m8...

And yes i know sprinkler situation is possible but its all very fishy..

I'd agree wouldn't order anything from them until the shop reopens..

P.s. Thanks for roasting me :p

Jesus dude, I didn't come next to near roasting you, I was quite polite, Just ask Headshot he will verify it. :pac:

I agree with you though DM does come across a bit of a crook, not really surprising though considering some of the "services" he offers. :pac:

I will say one thing about him though, I ordered a box off him a good few year ago, the wrong one was shipped out, I emailed him, he immediately sent me out the box I had ordered and told me to hold onto the one that was wrongly sent which might I add wasn't cheap.

I suggest all posters should guard their private parts carefully as if Darkman is around he might attempt to remove them !;)

    Fair enough m8 ;)

Ya I clearly have used his shop a few times..

Last time for the spiderbox something wierd happened online with the Visa card, rang the shop and was sorted asap.. So the Shop is pretty sound, have never heard of anyone complaining about it!!...

And you were right about me being banned and not liking the forum, due to the fact they cannot take constructive criticism about there products...

Agree with your crook comments... If he was raided, i'm sure his assets have been frozen though!...

    Oh wells!

Taken from another forum so may or maynot be true.

    Re: service+
yeah was probably me. I dont know what time it happened but i was trying to get my spiderbox to work and it would not comply so i thought the box was broke or something so i headed down to the shop box in hand only to find myself confronted by a few police and lot of trading standards who had all the stock on the pavement floor and man o man was it a lot of stock the shop is tiny so it was a shock to see it all laid out.

I had my box in a bag and made sure no one could see inside it did not want it confiscated so i walked past and headed to tesco just down the road. As i walked past i look inside quickly and everthing from the shop all the tv files everything was taken and loaded into a van.

i went home and looked online to see if any mention on forums but nothing, so i just waited and waited for info went to familys house and then posted on the forums cos i had enough of the lies on that forum and got banned happy days!

why the police were there i dont know but its a bit to much of a coincidence for the service to stop at the same time the police raid the shop.

Hopefully it was just a fire and not a raid. I don't own a spider but if it was a raid I wouldn't be too happy since spiderbox owners details are probably in police hands now, whether they would be bothered following up on owners I doubt it. It is only a matter of time though if you ask me, Service+ is so big and public it's eventually going to grab the attention of the authorities.

It was def a raid had in confirmed to me by another source.
The post above was from a mod on Alsat posted on a different forum.

its not illegal to buy or own or use a spiderbox m8 lots of people use the box as the picture quality is top class and its a piece of piss to set up also a lot of people dont actually use the service+ they use their own means,so i wouldnt worry bout the police too much in that aspect as they are sold as fta receivers

16e Supersport back up and running on service+, seems to be a good sign.

I meant specifically people who would have been connected to the service+ servers not every owner who has bought a box. Seems like it's back now anyways.

Since sky lost the case against that bar owner they are probably cracking down on cards outside the EU

Yeah, I bought my Vu+ Duo from a different etailer, but the box itself had an Alsat sticker on it.
