Blast him/her with piss? Is it funny?

    I'm just wondering what the general feeling in After Hours is, on this over-used comment "blast him/her with piss". Is it funny? Personally, I found it funny the first time I seen it as I thought it was just one persons weird outlook on life. But it wasn't. It's just a "thanks" thing that a lot of people use...

    Maybe some of you still find it funny and that's cool, senses of humour are wide and varied but I am sick to death of seeing it tbh. I mean, what's next when we become completely desensitised to this saying? Smear him/her with Sh*t? :)

    Well the people I blast with piss never seem to find it all that amusing, but I always have a bit of a laugh. So I guess it's subjective.

    It's shelf life is running out but has not yet come to an end. The fact that someone can type "Blast him etc..." and everyone knows what it means (and I find this funnier than the whole sentence), means it's going downhill. The next evolution will just be "BHWP" and then obscurity.

    It was never funny, and it's not just a boards thing afaik. I think it came from a video that went around awhile ago and became a general internet meme. Can't be arsed finding the video though.

    Could also have it mixed up with something else..

    Blast it with piss started as one of the images of the bachelor frog meme, proclaiming that if a bachelor such as yourself was taking a piss and there was a particular brown stain in the toilet you would re-direct the flow to hit said stain. This then became a meme within a meme, blasting all sorts of other random things. Then i saw it on boards.

    I had to vote "Yes, but not as funny as it used to be" because I admitted to finding it funny the first time I seen it. Sometimes it is funny now but only when used on someone who has never heard it before and it provokes an unusual or strange reaction.

    What the future holds for "Blast X with piss" remains to be seen, but surely the phrase will live on in memory for those of us fortunate to enjoy the highs and lows of this once great meme
