Mods abusing their power

    My recommend me a movie thread was locked for some unknown reason. The worst thing is I don't even know which moderator it was. Why the hell are they such a bunch of killjoys. I wanted movie recommendations and they were coming in nicely and then it just gets closed. No explanation. Bunch of farts. It's the AH forum. Let yourself goooooo. I expect another ban now. Keyboard warriors etc etc

    Probably because you should have asked in the movie forum.

    BTW, just ask whatever mod is on at the time as to why it was locked. But wait about five minutes first, most time they'll give a reason in the locked thread. :)

    The films forum could have been used but there a lot more freaks in here so I thought I would get a better variety.

    I actually didn't look in the arts section. My point still stands though.

    Me too. I've never contested one before. Getting a ban in boards is like going to Thailand and getting horsed into prison when you have no money. You're f*cked in both circumstances...no matter what you did.

    It might shock you to know you're not the first poster to ask for a movie recommendation but you're not.
    And generally these discussions which recommend films for people to watch are entertained best in the film forum.
    No mod conspiracy. No craziness. Just somebody helpfully pointing out the place to research your topic.
    If you have any more questions PM one of the AH Mods. If you start another thread about this you will be banned.

    I'd appreciate it if you kept in mind the time I put in to not only direct you to the correct forum for your thread, but I also went to the trouble of finding the thread in the Film forum, that would be most helpful to you, and linking to it.

    I am sorry if you think I'm a killjoy for pointing you in the right direction.
