Powerpoint Dishwasher Error E3

Hi Guys

Have the following dishwasher installed, it is model IDW12 and when I set a wash it goes for about an hour-1 1/2 hours, then it beeps for about 20 times and when I open it says E3 on it. Any idea's on how to fix? I have cleaned out the filter at bottom. It is not washing the dishes and then when I open it there is lot of foam and suds in the bottom of it. ANy idea's?? Thanks

You could ring the importer Shomar on (01) 450 5327 and (01) 450 5337. I don't see anything online for it and the manual doesn't say what the E codes mean (some manual :rolleyes:)

Yeah done that but I cant see an actual answer to the question on any of the websites, mayb I am blind!!

I know this is a few years too late, but for anyone searching here with the same error:

E3 means the water failed to heat up. Either the heating element is gone or there is no power going to the element (sometimes just a broken wire). The heating element terminals are right at the bottom of the dishwasher and prone to corrosion.
