Thats not love, its lust / infatuation.

Tell your friend to get a grip.

Erin McCrea ..... Loved her from the very moment we met. She transfered to my school when we were about 15. Absolutely stunning looking. Definately love at first sight. No question..... Pity, she couldn't stand me...

If this person was indoors, it is impossible. There wouldnt be near enough the pheromone level to attract him into a wild animalistic frenzy.

    Two words.

    Michelle Monaghan

Women don't succumb to love at first sight as it's not in your nature.

It's in men's genes to see, want, take back to cave home.

If you see someone you really fancy out and then go out with them and start to love them more the more you get to know them, is this love at first sight?

Lust / love .. why spit hairs :D

Actually, one of the more impressive stories of 'love at first sight' is how Michael Cain met his wife. Can't find the video, but he was at home and seen a commercial on TV and she was in it and he phoned the TV agency and got her number and asked her out and they've been married thirty years or something now.

Hmmm. What exactly was he planning on saying to her to win her over after hunting her down on the street ?

To be honest, all that stuff is a load of shite, devised by movie-makers and marketeers to convince people that if there isn't a bolt of lightning or an instant attraction, loves not possible. Keeps a lot of misguided people holding out (sadly) for a feeling that'll never happen.

Course, if I happen to fall in love at first sight someday, I may be back here to change my tune. :pac:

Who knows? Maybe they're all short-sighted?

You can be attracted to someone at first sight and it may grow into love, but at first sight it was in fact lust.

It's beyond me i son't know he's prone to drama in everything about his life i was taken aback, never seen such a display of madness, i'm only glad he didn't hunt her down poor girl would have had a heart attack.

Same sort of thing happened with Steve McQueen and his last wife, except he died soon after.

And Peter Bogdanovich and Cybill Shepherd. But again it didn't last.

I don't think there's any such thing as love at first sight, however you can have a really strong connection with somebody straight away and feel all tingley..... :o

I dunno, you can see a girl and think she's really attractive and it's lust, but then every now and again, and it's a rare thing, it's just more. Even if you don't know them, the first instinct isn't "yeh ryuhhhd". I don't even know what I'm trying to say, but maybe Pete can help me out.

Let's use the photo threads right here on boards as an example, there could be 100 girls (or guys obviously if you're a girl/gay) that you think are hot, and then one that makes you go- shít. Wow. wish I knew her.

    I'll shut up now. jesus.

I get where you're coming from but you might get to know her and hate her, know what I mean? I've been disappointed by blokes in this way, their personality doesn't match the one I projected onto them.
