Come across this "Democracy Map" on wiki, very interesting

It is based on a points system and a colour system. For colours basically the darkest green means the most democratic countries (UK, US, Ireland, France, etc) and on the other opposite black means the most authorative counties. (Libya, Burma, Chad, etc).

On the scale of ten 10 is the most democratic and 0 is authorative. Interestingly Russia gets a score of 4-4.9 (which is dark orange on the colour scale) and Saudi Arabia gets 0-0.9 (black) which is the most authorative. I would have never thought Saudi Arabia was authorative. have a look!

BTW if a mod can edit the link so it can display the image that would be great. I resized the map to 680 X 480 to make it compatiable for boards. (I am using imageshack and the IMG tags)

With the shit governments & gombeens we constantly put into power, I think I'd prefer if we were run by a dictatorship.

At least that way, I wouldn't have to listen to election speeches or have to bother to vote for the least stupid & corrupt candidates.

What do you find interesting about it? Saudi Arabia is an Absolute Monarchy.. wholly undemocratic
