Surely he was out of it though - he was hardly in his right state of mind.

Probably the same ones who voted for Fianna Fail in the last election, w@nkers the lot of them............. they'll tell you they won't but secretly they will.

I can't believe that 96FM are putting him back on the airwaves again. No doubt he will sit & judge everyone again. Never lacks a bit of confidence. Will he still have the live phone in? Will callers be allowed freedom of speech? I won't listen in but no doubt a lot of his followers will!

Can't we just wash our hands of this now?

Oh I hope so, it really would be a great stress buster - just to listen to him being wound up. Then when you're having a really bad day......

I'm sure the carefully crafted, and no doubt horrendously expensive, media management campaign has that detail covered. He won't be taking calls which is ironic given he believed he had a divine right to interrogate people about any thing he liked and to demand answers on behalf of 'De People'.

96FM clearly believe it can only be good for listenership numbers.

What songs will he play? How about Phil Collins' 'I can feel it coming in the air tonight, oh Lord!'.

Amazing decision by the station owners to put that puller back on air. So glad that station doesn't reach us here.

I'd love to hear him back on air. I never heard his show, but understand that he's always up on his high horse giving out to people. He can never do it again! Every caller knows what he did. If he does go on a rant, every listener will just be thinking "yeah, but you had a wánk on a plane"

He gave a new meaning to the movie 'Snakes on a plane'!

This guy is just unbelievable - does he really expect us to feel sorry for him. Can't believe he gets to go back on air and continue pontificating to the people of Cork and beyond.

And then I would suggest that his first guest on Monday morning should be Ben Dunne as they share a fondness for "dark places"

Nah, I think he should have been left to rot somewhere.

This poor guy is a victim of a terrible wrong doing! He has some balls to come back on the radio!

look i have said this before and i will say it again a million times if i have to,

people aren't perfect, people make mistakes, some people learn from them and move on in a positive direction. and personally i despise anyone who tries to hold a person back by using their past against them or judging them on something they did. (past tense)

everyone gets their comeuppance at some stage if they think they are better then anyone/everyone, he has gotten his and learned from it, thats whats important now, again not what he did but what he will do from now on.

sorry i'm just sick to my teeth of this Irish 'kick them while they are down' attitude that seems to be everywhere lately.

I don't think that it's a "kick them while their down" attitude. We just don't like people wánking in their seat on a plane.

i'd say even if he blasted everyone on the plane with piss, they still would have taken him back to get PJ Cougan off the air...
