    Hi all,

I really like those Nature Valley Granola bars, take a few of them to work and are a decent snack..Only prob is I think the are expensive enough - Dunnes have them for 3.30 for 6 bars - 55cent per bar -

Are there any Aldi/Lidl alternatives to these bars? Or any other alternatives I should consider?

    Thanks,

    F

Just checked tesco.ie, the offer seems to be over, still cheaper than Dunnes.

    It is what it's.

i know that these days it seems a hassle, but have you ever thought of making them,it would be much cheaper, better for you and easy enough to make, you can keep them in an air tight container for a week.they taste so much better than bought ones.google granola bars. i did it for flap jacks and they were delicious.you can alter the ingredients to your own taste.they take about 30 mins to cook.hope you give them a try.once you ve bought the basic ingredients, they work out a lot cheaper....only problem is you cant stop eating them.they are addictive.good luck.let us know how you get on or if you need help.i really hope you have a bash at making them, raymark.im a woman.the name is the names of my sons
