Cash transfer from Credit Union to AIB

Hey Guys, I'm having awful trouble getting paid for a job atm but your man told me today he is making a bank transfer from his credit union account to my bank account. How long would it take the money to show in my bank account once he makes the transfer? Will it come into my account as cleared funds or is it like a cheque?

When it comes, it'll be cleared instantly. It make take 2-3 days to arrive in your account from when he makes the transfer, however.
