Am I the only person who doesn't find him funny? Everyone raves about him, I don't understand why.

I don't think he's funny, but I find myself agreeing with a lot of what he says. Considering the whole world says he's an idiot, that's probably not a good thing.

I watched a few episodes of "An Idiot Abroad" Some funny moments but alot of time, the humour felt forced.

The only time Ive seen him is on that travel show where he visits the wonders of the world. Parts of that were funny but mostly it was in spite of Karl and not because of him.
His dopey, moaning, grumpy little Englander act wears abit thin. You'd imagine if one of his fixers had introduced him to 2 amazing looking Indian bellydancers and told him they wanted to take turns riding him senseless, he'd have a bitch about it before saying he'd rather just have an early night!

Whats even weirder is when Karl says something mildly amusing and Ricky Gervais lets out this high pitched shriek of joy!

I have to say the latest stuff seems a bit preplanned alright but I always consider the XFM shows to be the best quality material they have ever done simply because it is completely off the cuff and natural.

His show had some funny parts, but I went from laughing to thinking he's just really intolerant and ignorant rather than funny.

listen to the xfm podcast where they talk about what superpowers Karl would like to have, I was crying laughing into my cereal one morning listening to it, its on youtube anyway.
