Inspired by the "can you be friends with an ex" thread. Didnt want to hijack that thread. So created this.

I guess this thread is about fully moving on. We all know it depends on several factors, how much you were invested in them, were you hurt etc etc.

So the ultimate question is... is there an ex you think about?

if i see them or they bother me somewhat thats the only time i would think of them. (Except two i still talk to but i consider them friends) i suppose i am well over those past relationships....

i like to look forwards nowadays not back.

No, I tried to convince myself that she was a giant bitch and I'm better off without her, but I'd be with her in a heartbeat if she offered.:o

How about you? Is there someone you're not fully over?

yes i think about my ex alot

You dont spend 8 years with some one - love them and then forget they ever existed

I dont love her now, i care for her, but i can be in contact because she stil loves me and wants me back to this day.

When she pissed she wakened, and by then it was too late.

there was only ever one that i had stuck in my head for any significant length of time, and thankfully that stopped being the case years ago.

if the guy i'm currently head over heels for ever stopped being a part of my life then my answer would be 'yes' for a long, long time.

edited to add that i thought you were asking specifically about being over an ex, not just not thinking about them at all. of course i think of lots of exes from time to time for whatever reason, but i'm over every single one of them.

just noticed that if one isn't careful and doesn't read the poll question, but instead answers the question in the title of the op, then the results of this poll are going to be skewed. not that it's supposed to be scientific i know, but still.

    ;)

well i was with a person for 6 months that ended the start of 2010. Im over her. the person.. but she tossed me aside for someone else... and she was cheating on me during the relationship.

i guess for me... its the mental mind games that can come with a break up.

Didn't think too about them when I was with em, never mind after. That's why they all dumped me.

    All of them but one.

Still friends with one or two, mostly ones from when I was much younger.

    Convincing.

I've an ex I'm still good friends with. We were in love a long time ago, and it took me years to get over her. But given time, and a bit of distance, we developed a friendship that's pretty good. It's a lot easier since we live on opposite sides of the world, but whenever we're in the same town, we always have a good laugh.

Have an 'ex' of sorts that I will never fully get over. The reason for that is our relationship ended abruptly when she went back to Italy, I was young and not ready to commit to moving there. We still talk occasionally but I know I will never be 100% over her. It's very very tough, believe me.

I'm only 21, I haven't exactly had my heart broken a million times. I've been in three relatively 'serious' relationships, with people who I no longer know/think about and are not in my friend circle.

Don't be so quick to conclude that I'm some bitter middle aged woman who has voodoo dolls of all her ex's

ah gosh, sending u a cyber hug (hugs)

But getting back to the Question- No never, too busy with children and the hubby to be wondering about the past. I know I picked the man who was right for me.

I'm over all of mine. I've always been the one instigating the break up though, and I suppose, as horrible as this sounds, mentally, I'd probably moved on weeks before I ended things.

When I was nine this girl a few doors down made me play a game of 'you show me yours and I'll show you mine'.

Man I miss her, what a little slut.

Yes, tho if she offered to get back together I would say yes.

Only so I could nail her one more time and then dump her straight after. Muhaha.

Sometimes she might cross my mind alright when I'm drunk.

Yeah, there's one who I haven't gotten over and don't know when I will. Better that she's living in Germany, otherwise it'd be even more difficult.

Think about a particular one often even though I ended it and still don't regret doing it. More just to wonder if she's OK and if all is well with her.
