    Radiation wasn't invented it was discovered. Had we not discovered it, we would not have x-rays and smoke alarms, and lots of good stuff.

    If we had not invented weapons we would never have been able to kill animals, and so not be able to eat meat, and probably not have survived the ice age.

    Personally, I wish we could dis-invent VX gas. It is horrible stuff and serves no useful purpose. I also wish Sir Walter Raleigh had chosen something else to put in his pipe to smoke, other than the highly addictive substance that is tobacco.
