    She was doing well as a singer (in the states too), then ditched the music and decided to go into acting, and seems to have fallen by the wayside. Bad luck, or bad choice, depending how you look at it. Shame really, as far less talented have gone further.

    She was actually a decent singer and had a few half decent tracks, well in comparison to most pop music anyway

    She also looks like a black version of a girl I used to go out with when I was younger!

    Samantha Mumba's Wikipedia entry says she was born in Palmer Street Hospital in Dublin. Anybody have any idea where that is? I never heard of a Palmer Street in Dublin.
