Best route by car - commuting from Maynooth to Lower Mount St

    Is going down the quays to and from Heuston the handiest, any other route that's a bit faster in rush hour, probably isn't but no harm asking.

    Probably handiest, don't forget the bus gate is in operation so you have to continue down quays passed the customs house and cross the bridge there, then onto lombard street, westland row etc.

    Unless you're working very odd hours, the train takes about 50 minutes, is fairly reliable and drops you about 5 minutes walk from work. If you buy a monthly ticket through work on the taxsaver scheme, it will cost €72.10 (at 20% tax) or €50.47 (at 40% tax).
