Photo ID for UK domestic flights

Hi all - quick query about ID requirements.

The other half has to fly from Belfast to Bristol (with Easyjet) for work but her passport is away for renewal.

For internal UK flights I know we don't need passports and that we can get by with a UK driving licence for photo ID. Does anybody know if they'll accept her Irish driving licence?

She tried ringing easyjet and they reckoned it was ok, but she got the feeling that they'd never seen an Irish driving licence and might think a bit differently when a bit of green cardboard wrapped in clingfilm landed on the desk.

Anyway if someone has any experience either way it would be appreciated...

    Their requirements are here: https://www.easyjet.com/EN/News/20040628_01.html

"Valid photographic driving licence" is listed. As it's listed under UK Domestic flights, one could read it to mean a UK driving licence, but they're not particularily clear.
