I rarely see people in Ireland who collect trophies on the ps3 and just wondering if any others do it?

Really its an strange one. Why somnone will not collect the trophy? If I would get such price, I would wait for hours to get my reward.

I do love the sound of getting a trophy...

My collection is below in my sig, my impatience is my downfall and my bad gameplaying abilities....

I purposely went all out to get the Platinum for Assassins Creed 2. The only other Platinum I have is for Terminator Salvation. You only need to complete the game on the hard level for that. I really cannot be arsed these days.

No you cant avoid all of them generally you have to go out of your way in a game to gain some trophies usually all of them sometimes! So its not that strange, you cant clear a game and obtain them all very rare to do that.

Yeah seems that only a few people in the country do it ha

And its not sad at all, just means you get more out of a game that you buy rather then just completing it and never playing it again

If that's all you have left, shame not to finish it. Considering you got the Star 69 trophy.

Snap on the Assassins Creed 2 trophy. It's the only one I've ever played which seemed reasonable and fun to get.

So many other trophies require serious amounts of work like replaying the entire game on extreme difficulty (which I couldn't deal with the constant dying and replaying) or some trophies are just ridiculously unreasonable like Bad Company 2 requiring you stab 5 friends in the back online (I don't have many friends at all who play, and when they rarely do they always end up on my team), so I think that sort of trophy is just massively difficult and way too circumstantial.

I think trophies are great but some platinums are just in the stratusphere difficulty-wise.

I've FINALLY got my gf into playing games by downloading sonic and having trophies for reaching certain goals. She starting to go down that dark slope into gamer geekdom :)

    I can't wait!

P.S. have platinum-ed Assassins Creed 2 and Tekken 6 so far. I'm with the above, playing on extreme difficulty would make my eyes bleed

Is that the old Sonic that was on the PS+ recently for free?

Some of them trophies are dead hard, the save states are handy but damn i remember that game being easier.

ie finish the game in under 40 mins trophy
or the finish the game without dying trophy

Thats the one. She spent 20 mins trying to get the one where you clear the first level in 35 seconds. She's gone mad for the trophies. She's still trying to do the "clear marble zone act 1 in 80 seconds"

I honestly don't know how anyone could finish the game without dying?! imagine getting to the last level and dying then!?

Yeah i got the 35 seconds one pretty easily. The marble zone one and the no dying can be gotten with the saved states id say....Move 10 yards, save....die ....reload.

Whats everyones most prized Platinum trophy?

Mines Batman Arkham Asylum. When I finished that last combat challenge for the plat I had a smile for days! Can't wait to go for the plat on Batman AC

Demons souls would be mine i had done 3 play throughs when my hdd got formatted so had to restart it all, however Endwar would beat them all if the last trophy wasnt glitched (98% im stuck on)

Probably MW2. Those spec. ops were rough. Especially Snatch and Grab.

Meh. I found them pretty easy. The one where you complete the game without dying can be done by saving the game every now and then. The Marble Zone...just don't screw up. Simple as that. The only one I have left to get is the one where you have to finish the game in under 40 minutes.

And because we're on the subject of trophies:

Yeah there'd need to be a serious amount of social life sacrifice involved in that.

You are, of course, assuming that the guy has a social life TO sacrifice...
