I have recently done a format and clean install of windows xp on an old laptop.
For some reason I am having issues with the wireless drivers,
I have heard people saying there is software you can use to automatically find the drivers for you, does anyone use this software?

I use DriverMax but since you formated the hard drive........what is the system? Maybe look on the manufactors website for the drivers

Google the hardware id in the properties of the device in device manager.

    Otherwise driveragent.com

Not sure about XP. But this is a feature in Windows Vista and Windows 7.

You dont really need to install drivers in W7 as it finds them for ya.

I use Driver Genius, a good tool to get drivers and keep them up to date.
