What did you want to be when you grew up?

The first thing I can remember telling my Dad I wanted to be, was a Bounty Hunter / Stunt Man .. cause that's what Colt Seavers (Lee Majors) in the The Fall Guy tv show.

I used to have this plasic gun and holster tucked under my arm, just like his and me my best mate would play The Fall Guy. I would lock him up and then he would escape and then I'd go around the estate chasing him on my bike, doing stunts as we went (made some ramps and the like) all the while trying to get my man so I could collect the bounty money:cool:

We were in our late twenties at the time, but sure what the hell, we had fun.

Incidentally, Jody was one of my first crushes too.

So good people of AH, what do you first remember wanting to be when you grew up?

A Street Fighter... Well, that was 'till my mate (who also wanted to be a street fighter) attempted to preform an epic dragon punch at the top of a fairly steep hill. As I looked down at his busted body lying in a heap at the bottom of the hill mere seconds later, I decided that street fighting wasn't for me.

Pilot/Astronaut I was obsessed with all things that flew and space. Would spend ages just flying my X Wing in Star Wars Rogue Squadron for the N64. There were very few levels that allowed you to fully free roam but I still loved it. Even though I played all the N64 Star Wars from Rogue Squadron onwards (I loved E1 racer and RS) I'd never actually seen a star wars movie until Episode in the Cinema which I thought was magnificent and amazing the whole concept of a Jedi blew me away. :o

You must have had seriously high standards if just being Superman wasn't enough for you.

Funny that, because I remember wanting to be the Million Dollar Man (another Lee Majors character)!

Then I grew out of that idea as I realised that being a bionic man was a bit unrealisitic. So then I decided that I wanted to be Evil Kenevil.

Despite that, my dream to marry Wonder Woman stayed the same.

    A train driver.

Never actually did anything towards being a train driver, and I'd still like to be one.

But as far as I've heard you need to serve your time and bide your time at IE to be one.....which could take a hell of a long time :(

The way things are now, I can't imagine IE are exactly dying for staff.

He was stuntman/bountyhunter, who drove a pickup truck, wore a stetson and was played by Lee Majors, in the country where bearing arms is a birthright.

And you think he didn't have a gun???

Yeah good advice there, even at 30 you'd still be considered a baby in Serie A. 40 years-coming to the end, 45+ years-time to starting thinking of the stud farm:pac::pac::pac::pac:

Mercenary. Like the A-Team, wanted by the U.S. Government for a crime I didn't commit.

That was before I knew what a mercenary does - pretty dodgy characters in real life.
