Four missing children from Ardee! [Update: found!]

From the media I hear that there were three families living in the one house and the mother told that man that if social services came to hide the kids. So could it be that he's protecting the kids from the mother? I know that still does make it acceptable. It sounds seriously messed up either way.

Well the facebook page has some videos and pictures of the kids, its hardly any different from a lot of other facebook pages, does show he spends time with the kids.

Sounds like the mother had asked him to look after the kids for a few days and move them if social worker called? All a bit odd but seems the mother was letting him look after the kids. Strange to take them off with the neighbour and her kids though. You have to imagine with two adults all six kids are going to be looked after and returned

There's definitely a couple of the missing children - "Jessica Ice Skating" and "Chloe and Zoe at Tesco". Don't know about the rest though.

No they're not, look at the titles. They all involve the same kids.

seems he went through a break up and wasnt taking it too well.
id be a bit concerned now about all this.
i dont think its as simple as a father just taking his kids.
who is the woman he is with? and it appears that he only has one daughter ,sky, i dont think she is one of the 4 that have been taken.

I saw that, but didn't wanna say anything, thought I was the only one completely stalking his profile

But the whole break up thing seemed to have been in June.

He's not the father of any of the 4 kids who are missing, according to Gardai.

It's odd that they aren't using words like abduction and so on in any of the press releases.

I would say it's since she seemed to have told him to hide the children, or something along those lines, so maybe they think he was trying to do this and took it too far? I don't know, I'm just guessing here.

why dont the media just tell you whats going on?

what i seem to have gathered so far.

this man and woman and two kids shared a house with the other woman and the 4 kids.

woman has to go to hospital(wondering if this is related to services)

mother asks other couple to hide kids if people come to house whilst she is away.

next thing news reports looking for the missing children.

seems the guy has simply been following the wishes of the mother.

id be concerned about the guys mental health after stalking his facebook page.

however very strongly believe the children wont be hurt.

question is why did the mother ask him to take the kids away ?

They found them outside Belfast. All safe and well. Two arrested.

Today FM just reported. Found in b&b outside belfast. Owner was suspecious and called the police. Man and Women arrested kids found safe and well.

No doubt link will follow when RTE catches up

Four children who have been missing from their home in Ardee since Thursday have been found.

It is understood that 12-year-old Chloe, 10-year-old Jessica, 5-year-old Jon and 1-year-old Megan Eaton are safe and well.

A 30-year-old man and a woman have been arrested in relation to the incident.

It is understood the children were found by the PSNI in Newcastle, Co Down at around 1pm.
