    Hey

Me and a few friends (2 Guitarists 1 Drummer) just started a band, our first jam was a bit of a disaster because we couldnt think of any song to play that that was fairly easy for everyone to learn.

Does anybody have any ideas of a few songs we could start off with just to get used to playin together. Anything fairly mainstream rock that has both lead/rhythm parts and something for the drummer to keep us all interested??

    Thanks

i think your best bet is to get a list of bands that all three of you like, and then pick one song each band. another tip to save time is to agree at the end of one session what song/songs you'll be doing next session. this way you get dont spend a lot of time trying to decide what to play, then working it out.

as for the songs to learn, thats up to the sort of stuff you all like...

best of luck with it all

Easy songs I can suggest to play are Greenday, Therapy?, Nirvanna, but yeah I agree with the previous post. Make a list of songs you all like and are interested in playing. Agree a reasonable time frame for band members to learn the stuff see what works.

    Good luck!

Pretty much all of Kings of Leon songs are actually very simple. Once you can play barre chords and a bit of lead.. Eg Mollys Chambers, 4 Kicks, The Bucket etc. My band do all them, the crowd will always know them
