    Hi all,
I have a custom .22lr which is a lovely accurate gun but I find it a bit short on effective range.
Had made my mind up to get a .223 for foxes and longer range greys, mags and maybe bunny headshots. Then the car broke down.. :(.
Any ideas on where to start with a budget of under 600. Can it be done?

.204 for sale above. buy a scope separate and it would be in your budget.
with. €250 left over you would prob pick up a decent second hand scope

Thanks for that. It is within budget alright. Perhaps I could use my .22 scope on it.
Was wondering if barrel wear was an issue with second hand .204?

When are we going to see you shoot your REMINGTON .204?

It's like waiting for a blue moon :D

That .204 is great value in fairness but .223 ammo would be cheaper in the long run unless your going shooting high end balistic tips which would be the same price!
