That because someone is gets an education in a country they automatically have to stay in that country...seems very close minded really.

When I finish college I'm most likely going to leave here and shouldn't that be a choice I'm free to make?

Free will is an illusion and our lives can only play out in one way.

This is not the same as the wishy-washy concept of fate where people think their lives are like stories where they are "destined" for something, good or bad. It is the pointless, deterministic unfolding of events.

We are just self-replicating, self-perpetuating, accidental lumps of chemical reactions clinging pointlessly to a rock in space and every thought which has occurred to human beings in times past and every action they have performed or event which has occurred to them could not have happened otherwise.

Also, even if the universe isn't deterministic at the quantum level, this also implies that we don't have free will. unless we humans alone are magic and not subject to physical laws and are unlike all other species which have branched off the same evolutionary tree. What a happy coincidence that would be!
