Creeking noise coming from under car/steering?

Would appreciate anyone's advice. My car has all of a sudden started to creek terribly when i turn the steering wheel or go over ramp or down car park ramp??? Could it be the power steering or axle bar? Im a nervous wreck driving in case it is dangerous.Really have not got enough money this week for a mechanic.:mad:

What's the make / year / model?

Could be an anti-roll bar drop link that has failed? If so, shouldn't be very expensive (have both links replaced if it is).

You could call in to an Advance Pitstop-type place and ask them to have a look. No obligation on you to go ahead with the work, and it might put your mind at rest until you can afford to have it sorted.
