How to find out what network iphone 3gs was originally purchased on?

Hi all, Not sure if there is a thread about this already - did search but couldn't find anything! Ive a 3GS that I bought on Adverts. I had it unlocked and jailbroken and now I want to update and do it again. Thing is, Im on Vodafone and I can't remember what network it was originally on. What do you do to try find this…

Hi all,

What do you do to try find this out? I've already gone to settings > carrier > automatic like I read on another google search but it doesnt seem to be the answer....

doesnt matter what carrier its on, create a custom firmware using pwnage tool or similar and it'll activate for you
