Panasonic sc-bt22 and satellite audio

    Hi
I have the panny sc-bt222 2.1 surround system with my panny V20 and have them connected using HDMI(arc). I can get full use of my bt222 when using blue ray, usb films, music etc. I've just recently connected a satellite dish to the built-in sat tuner in the Tv. When the TV is playing HD source material e.g. BBCHD, ITVHd I can get no audio return through the Bt222. The TV speakers work just fine. However, SD satellite content is handled fine thru the surround sound.

Are there any settings i need to adjust either on the TV or the BT222? Is there another way to pass the sat hd audio to the bt222? Will a digital optical cable work on its own?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I heard Sky HD box only does 5.1 on optical and only stereo on HDMI. Has the channel got a stereo track?

    Thanks Watty
the channels, BBC HD, BBC 1 HD and ITV HD are on FTA and indicate "multi-audio". If I try and use optical do I have to use RCA connections with this? Will try both and see what happens.
