Let folk beat about in the thread if they want. Its slightly ironic that you would say something as highlighted, dalglish gave after match interviews after losing at united, infinitely more class than the chap who manages united. Now remind me who the bad losers are again?

Fergie is a bitter man and he's sulking now cos everyone is against him.

Yeah, it's a big change from his usual rent-a-quote self...
Daniel Taylor of the Guardian reported:

Jamie Carragher waited outside #MUFC dressing room to apologise to Nani for his studs-up challenge

That is quite classy from him.

Sign of a classy man to wait til after winning the game to apologise. Not even a hint of it at the time.

And it was very obvious that Nani hobbled (yes, hobbled, not ran) to the ref because he had the yellow card out. As soon as he put any weight on the leg he went straight down.

Pity you could have got one two years back. Be your first in how many years?

I think it's pretty clear you'll never pass us now.

Don't agree with the laughter at Nani's injury, which looks very bad, but the United fans trying to take the moral high ground is pathetic.

You make a good point with Keane. That moment is celebrated by a large section of United fans. Did the chap even play again after that awful tackle?

Well explain the whole high ground comment? What has Roy Keane got to do with it? Why bring the past up? How far are we allowed to go back? Newton Heath times? Liverpool glory days? 5 seasons ago? yesterday?

Whats with the generalization too? Not all Pool fans are celebrating and gloating Nanis injury. Not all United fans are pointing the finger.

Pointless question regarding Keane. Does not help or add to the argument at all. Two, three or umteen wrongs don't make a right. Going back ten or fifteen years makes no sense.

No "high ground" taking as you put it. How many bad tackles does a United player have to take to shake off the lunatic Roy Keanes horrible challenge and attitude to Haaland. Fúcking joke comments here

I think Dowd already had the yellow in his hand.
    I could be wrong though.

Yep ref had yellow in hand Nani went to try and get him sent off

Not really, beaten by a better team on the day. Congrats, well done Liverpool. Would I swap your position for ours though, would I hell?

Simple real, just trying to give Liverpool fans a reality check.

You'll be missed. Mind you, with Ferguson refusing to talk to anyone, maybe United fans are trying to follow his lead.

Last time I checked Liverpool were debt free while United owe half a billion. I'd not swap positions either.

I think the picture earlier of Nani's leg was doctored. At least I hope it was.

Either way, it was a nasty one & from this photo, you can clearly see that Carragher & Moreles both look genuinely concerned.

Hopefully it's not as bad as it looks. I'm sure no-one would wish any real harm on the lad, even though at the best of times he is an annoying little so & so.

If it distracts them from the fact they are a moderately above average side whose title challenge is going off the rails (and their manager is losing the plot) then leave them to it.
I didn't know there were medals for runners up in the league
I think it's pretty clear you'll never pass us now.

Now this is a new one. I've heard of meltdowns after a loss, but I've never seen someone have a lemon-inspired meltdown after a fine win.

It's fair enough to criticise a player trying to get someone sent off after diving, but trying that here makes you look very foolish.

Did you ever hear united supporters bragging about opponents getting damaged by wreckless tackles?

Yes when Keane ended halands career

A debt riddled side still achieving more must be an awful feeling?

I'm bitter and down after that, but I like boards and its one thing having a bit of banter and a laugh, its another thing having to listen/read the "deserves it the diving cnut" or "hope he's hurt" type comments.

If I wanted to hear that I would have went into town or down to the local and listen to the middle aged tattooed bald fat guy with the ear ring and white runners repeat it over and over again.

Also embarrassing stereotypical comments like below

YEAH THOSE DAMN SOCCER FORUM TROLLS! LETS JUST IGNORE THEM NOW THAT THERES A GUY DOING EXACTLY WHAT BOGGLES / NTLBELL WERE DOING FOR YEARS

Nani has made a career out of diving, faking injuries and trying to get players sent off. Can't really blame people for not believing he's actually injured when he pretends he is so often/

Here's the reality check - we've gone through a ****ty couple of years but we're on the up.

United are weakening year in year out, but have still managed to keep ahead of the other weakening clubs. Ferdinand, Scholes and Giggs are all showing signs of serious decline. Rooney is a shadow of himself. Some of the younger players are patently not good enough. You have an absolutely horrendous amount of debt hanging over you which inhibits the club in many ways. You don't have the financial power that you once had, you wont be able to adequately replace those players who are in decline. Your manager is worryingly erratic.

United are in a better position for the short term. In three (possibly two) to five years we'll be back on top.

Ah come on I'm not looking for an us vs them playground drama. I'm not naming people either. I've plenty of so called United fans on my ignore list. I've a Bohs fan on my ignore list too. I'm more commenting on the quality and content of peoples posts. Lets not go down that road, lets all be friends, without capital letters!
