solid fuel range v solid fuel stove

currently we have efel oil fired stove in and oil central heating costing approx 100 euro a week to run during november to march . we have a baby in house so need heat coming on ever few hours .we were thinking of ways to reduce the bill and so thought of taking out the stove and maybe put in a solid fuel range to domestic water and rads . i would have plenty of timber and turf . ranges are costing between 3500 and 5500 .stoves coming in somewhere between 1500 and 2000 .would anyone have anyother suggestions of heating a house ? the house is six years old and well insulated kingspan in walls and 12 inchs of fiberglass in attic . anyone any ideas .
