Could have been red as well! I think Dowd has done well today though.

Maybe if Nani didn't buy so many free-kicks and cards we'd have more sympathy and maybe the ref would have shown Carra red.

Anyway Carroll must be sat there thinking I could really feast on this defence, hope he gets 20 if the game allows.

Juarez pulls Rafaels hair, should have been booked

Knew i wasnt seeing things, terrible though he has form of some sort for reckless behaviour.
Hope this match calms down a bit

The true scum showing their true colours, laughing at a player being stretchered off.

In all fairness now i've seen lots of occasions when UTD fans have done similar on here. I think its the delayed reaction that is bugging most people on here, i'm doubting he is injured but it surely can't be that bad when he jumped to his feet to chase the ref then got hit by a second invisable tackle

haha, love how they're talking about there being no contact but still a red conveniently ignoring the lunge by Maxi

STFU they wouldn't have taken him off he wasn't hurt .

    ??

He was well enough to jump up and start shouting and moaning until he apparently got shot.

Nani must actually be hurt. Fergie wouldn't take him off for something small.

You would think. Actually feel a bit bad for him if he is injured but he is a clown of the highest order.

I didn't see any United physios near him.

Carra defo should have been sent off. Fabio should too but it probably wouldn't have happened if it wasn't for the Carra tackle and the resulting fussa afterwards.

Edit: Just noticed that Suarez got sly grip of Fabio's hair in the scrap after the tackle. Fabio nearly lost it.

It'd be nice, for once.. I mean just for once, to have a matchday thread where you could have a bit of banter between fans and not to have it dragged down by idiots.

The depth of stupidity that some posters have is baffling.

It's only football - love the game, support your team, but don't be a fucking tool.

    Dublin_Gunner is a liverpool fan.

Also I seem to remember Lloyd enjoying Cesc getting injured by Alonso so it's not exactly new for him.

Carragher tackle was a disgrace and he should get banned. it was a leg breaker and has no place in the game

Maxi should have got a yellow for tackle on Rafa and then there would have been no challange on Lucas.

United player gets creamed - goes off on a stretcher.

Liverpool player gets creamed, jumps up to kick the sh1t out of him.

    Bit of a difference.

    What Liverpool player got creamed?

Some nasty tackles going on there

    1. Carragher should have been sent off for this, not booked

    2. Maxi should have been booked before Rafael done his tackle

Just seen them now. Carragher is a disgraceful human being. He went in to do him. Rafael should of been a red as well.

    Rooney
    Carragher
    Nolan
    Barton
    Gerrard

anyone else see the trend

Are you actually stupid? Look at it again, he gets up and as soon as he puts pressure on his leg he goes down. Should be a 5 game ban minimum for Carragher.

    That's disgraceful stuff by Liverpool.

Three red card offences in the space of a few minutes.

No need for them to resort to that.

That was a 50-50 ball mate, Rafa was quicker to it, it was definitely a foul on him, but NO WAY was it a red. Possibly a yellow alright. Rafa's lunge was 100% a red everytime, his sole purpose for jumping in like that was to hurt, he was frustrated.

    Also, the tackle on Nani was a red too, digraceful tackle from Carragher. Makes you see why we all need shinpads when playing. I don't get Nani's reaction though, it was bizarre. Reminded me of this;

And I shall continue as I see fit.

Carragher should have been sent off. Do I give a ****? No. Am I highly amused by Nani's reaction and happy to see him off? Yes. That's honesty.

    Good stuff all told.
