Big Phil got that wrong ..

Both feet left the ground .. Straight red !

No different than Gerrards in the cup

Nani must actually be hurt. Fergie wouldn't take him off for something small.

    Thats sounds optimistic ;):D

Nani strechered off with an injury from a bad tackle and Liverpool fans here( and others) have a laugh about it.

    Well done lads..

He wasn't too hurt to get back up, run over to the ref and fall back down in comical fashion. It was very funny, even Rooney had a smile on his face.

United getting a football lesson here! Liverpool are playing brilliant, their movement is excellent especially Suarez and Meireles.

Nani is not injured he was grand just acting.

Carra deserved to go for that challenge, as did Rafel for his

Difficult to have any sympathy for Nani though after that sort of reaction. Also fairly pathetic seeing a growing man cry when things dont go his way

Terrible performance from a United point of view..
Liverpool playing well and deservedly in front.

Carra and Rafa should both be off, connecting and intent are the same in my book.
    Dreading the second half..............

Well, considering Carrick was on the ground and Gerrard jumped on him, there's quite a fúcking difference.

real classy, you've hit a new low.

Like I give a damn. That's how to deal with players like Nani. He complains everytime you go near him, so you might as well give him something real to whinge about every so often.

if that was Aaron Ramsey you'd be having a conniption fit ;)

Shawcross got sent off for that though, didn't he?

It was 2 reds as far as I'm concerned.

Just a super half. Pressed savagely and made it ferociously difficult for them in possession. Used it well with great movement off the ball from Suarez, Meireles and Kuyt.

Losing Aurelio is a blow, and we'll have some hairy moments in the second half. Need to keep pushing high up the park and trying to be ambitious with the ball. One time.

    Bit of an odd statement

    Is Carrick playing? Seriously!

Nice 2-0 lead. Mustn't sit back and defend. Go for a third. Concentrate hard for the first 10 mins of the second half, Utd will come on strong. Then attack!
    Game's not over yet.

couldn't agree more. The second half will be hugely interesting as utd push forward and leave space behind their back 4. I expect alot of in behind passes for maxi / suarez / meireles/kuyt to run onto.
Coffee time.... maybe even a bickie ( or 2 )

I think that may be the first time I've seen a professional footballer actually crying on the pitch.

Ugh. Disastrous half for United. Nani off now is a big loss - he's a big threat.

Hopefully Hernandez can make an impact.
