xbox repair in meath??

    hi young lads xbox isnt reading some of the disc's will play some games but not other's,brought it to fixmypc they wanted 65 to fix but couldnt guarantee it will work :confused:
    so anyone no of somewhere to bring it to around the trim area in meath?

    ps. or am i better off just getting a second hand one?

    phone xbox customer support...if you have to pay you will get a new years warranty and the console will work when you get it back

    also if you are in warranty, the repair will be free :)

    Clear system cache: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/971755

    Perform this step then try boot up a game. If issue still persists follow the next step.

    Remove Harddrive: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/906204
    http://support.microsoft.com/kb/2122754

    Once removed, try play games to see if issue persists.

    If issue is resolved by removing your hard drive you will need a replacement hard drive.

    If issue persists after these troubleshooting steps console will need to go repair.
