Want to buy a Sat Nav and have decided to get a Garmin. There is one on offer in Halfords - Garmin Nuvi 1410 for 139 euro. Any views on this model and price?

The only requirements I have is that it has bluetooth - would anyone be able to suggest any other Garmins that are good. My max spending would be 160 euro.

    Thanks

Not too bad a unit, not too bad a price for an in store [but out of production unit].

Prices seem to be firming up again [what isn't] but the slightly better specified 1490T units had been online for the same money.

Check out: for the free extras? http://www.mysatnav.ie/garmin-nuvi-1310

Do check them on the Garmin site side by side for features

the most useful Garmin unit is the one with the 'Routing' function, where you can set your route (before you start traveling) to stop at many points of interest.
