So it's only all donations that go to the charity - none of the ticket price?

Watching individual charities based in the college fund raise better than the college/SU for years get's depressing looking in at. I know it's been harder than most years but there also seems like less effort being put in.

Sorry if this sounds like a dig at you personally, it's not meant that way more of an observation voiced out loud.

Well it's free in so they're not making any money from any tickets

This. The daytime stuff is free in, and as stated, donations go to the two charities. The proceeds from ticket sales for the bar ex tonight then are also in aid of Pieta House, AFAIK.

This is what i was getting at. Is it true? If so that's quite a decent gesture, more than decent, but i'm dubious...

From reading the above posts i thought the flyer posted was in relation to the bar ex.

I did think it was random that it was about trying to draw a hand, but I just thought I missed something!

I like this lie and spelling mistake. There was no great applause. And also its Guardaí, not Gards.

Guardaí? Are you joking me? Love the irony when someone wrongly corrects a perfectly correct correction... It really is Gardaí

my favorite law of the internets :D
    Muphry's law

also wouldn't be surprised if early closing was because of the guards pulling late licences, they surely caught wind of pubs trying to cash in on this ersatz RaG week

The original post had "Guardaí". The OP only edited their post to say "Gardaí" AFTER I corrected them. So there :P

Mantra last night was useless; some people actually paid the full 10 euro to see two idiots injure themselves thankfully i got a concession.
Hopefully tonight will be better in the roost.

We'll make up for it again!
In all fairness it was a fairly spontaneous decision for most of the lads!
