Crysis 2 MP Demo, anyone manage to connect?

I'm going spare trying to get a game of crysis 2 multiplayer demo working on my machine. very flaky connection to the server, only logs in about 30% of the time and when I do manage to connect to a match I'm left sitting in the lobby watching other players scores go up but I'm unable to join the game. I'm going to give up…

Nope, im not going to bother trying to fix it either.
Most people ive talked to say its "meh".
