Why don't we have ISA and SIPP's in Ireland?

    We're getting bent over a barrel here.
    No such thing as an ISA for us in Ireland. Instead we get a measly €1,270 capital gains tax free allowance - this figure just goes to show you the last time it was looked at was years ago when the euro was introduced. Then CGT is charged at 25% then - probably higher now with Labour in power.
