Hercules Powerline 200Mbps

    Hopefully right forum to ask this in - the Hercules powerline adapter here states that it is 200Mbps. However, it only has a 10/100 Mbps ethernet port - so is the max possible transfer speed 100Mbps or am I missing something??

    The 200Mb/s is total bandwidth for all devices on the network. Each device can get up to 100Mb/s

    thats really interesting!
    so the 85Mb/s homeplugs will really limit your DL speed to 42.5Mb/s??

    No. The 10/100 ethernet port shouldn't be a limiting factor on an 85Mb/s network.

    Review here

    30Mbps real world throughput in these particular tests. About norm for a 200Mbps powerline products.
