Advice needed on finding a room in Galway

I've been in my current accommodation in Galway for about 5 years now and I'm finally moving out next week.

I hate moving and I'm guessing some things might have changed since last time I did it.
What advice could anyone give me?
Is there anything I should be careful of?

Is the Galway Advertiser still the best place to find a single room?
Are there any websites worth looking at?

Also, is WiFi a common feature in shared accommodation these days?
I'll need to order mobile broadband in the next couple of days if it isn't.
I don't watch TV but internet is a must! :)

    I appreciate any advice given.
    Thanks for reading.

Friend of mine has a single room for rent in her house in Salthill, lovely area and nice house, if that of interest. Its on daft.ie I think, churchfields area of salthill.

Yeah Galway Advertiser and daft are the best places to find a room imo.
There's plenty around so go see a few before you decide.
Wifi is pretty common but you never know until you've asked :)

www.daft.ie has the advantage of letting you view photos, see the location on a map and email the owner with specific questions.

    Thanks for the help everyone!

I'm going to skip the Advertiser.
Dead trees are a poor substitute for a website IMHO.

Daft.ie seems like a great site.
I've already seen some promising listings.
Thankfully broadband seems to be as common as dirt these days!

    easyroommate.com seems okay.
Far fewer listings though and I just noticed they can't even spell Limerick correctly! (Limmerick?!)
Still, no harm in giving them a shot as well.

    Thanks again.

double room with its own full size bathroom going in my place for around €270 a month (i think). Rosan Glas.

pm if you want to see it.

It seems to be a buyers market at the moment, plentyout there.

Advertiser and daft are defo the best bet.

Check notice boards in GMIT and NUIG or daft.ie or gumtree either
