On the subject of music again, a friend introduced me to these, a pretty good band from Italy. And the lead female vocalist is hot hot hot :P

    I hate montages in films.

Lacuna Coil rock indeed, they're great :D

Dr. Baltar, montages? yeah, they can be annoying.

I decided a while ago that I needed to watch more LGBT films so tonight I watched "Beautiful Thing" which was great and have just finished watching "Shelter" there. It was good but dear God if I see another happy montage I'm going to kill someone.

I remind myself of that quote by Leonard Cohen: "Even Damnation is poisoned by rainbows".

EDIT: Also, I'm in love with this band and song at the moment:

I got loads of books today! Now all I need to do is read them, because my brain is going to turn to mush unless I start reading again. I've only read like 2 books all year

Not much into books myself, but for some reason I just finished my 6th book since the 1st of Jan.

The only books I seem to have time for these days are ones with "physiology" somewhere in the title. :(

Did get to run through the Harry Potters again last year though. Thoroughly recommended :P

I read all 7 books in The Chronicles of Narnia every couple of years. My favourite books in the world..........

The fact that Hollywood is releasing the movie versions of the books in the order in which they were written, rather than chronological order (the order they should be read/viewed) makes me angry:mad::o and I refuse to watch any of them.

In fact, any time I'v watched the film version of a book I've previously read, it has ruined both of them for me.

You have to admit though, the one in Rocky 4 is brilliant as it really gets you going, as is the one in Team America: World Police, as it's just downright hilarious!

I intend to. I was trying to decide between electric and bass until electric won me over. Now I'm stuck between a 1 x single coil pickup and a 2 x single coil pick up. I may go go with the second becasuse it has a more bassy hum to it and I just love my rock music :P

I need to stop watching general election coverage. It's been constant since 9am yesterday!
