    Hi all

I'm looking to make a video which would be of me talking over information which would be on my screen (e.g. powerpoint slides or pdf files). Is there any special software/hardware I need for this?

Please see the following link for an example of the type of video I am talking about (though mine won't relate to gambling).

Thanks in advance for any help offered.

    Billy

    Wink.

There are others but I forget.

Two other options are Camstudio, which is freeware or fraps which I think you have to pay for, so I haven't used fraps. It is a bit of a pain optimising the settings for Camstudio though, but I don't know if it's any better with fraps.

Edit: Actually, I think there's a free version of fraps.

fraps is great... not expensive either

Fraps isn't ideal since its primary purpose is capturing rapidly changing gaming. Software like Wink is better at capturing the movement of a UI objects in a window and adjust the keyframes appropiately.

I used to use Windows Media Encoder... I upgraded to Windows 7 last month, so I'm not sure if it's available for this.. But I found it very easy to use, and FREE.
