Past addresses for Garda clearance

    Hey all,

wondering if anyone can help regarding Garda clearance forms? I can't remember all my addresses from the past. I contacted the tax offices I have been registered with over the years and have got most of them but there are a few missing. For some reason my first address was registered for a few years even though I moved a couple of times in between that recorded address and the next recorded one. If I leave addresses out will this mean I'll be declined clearance? I don't have a criminal record and have never been arrested. What do the Gardai actually check to make sure you have put all addresses down on the form? Also, I lived at one address where the address has come up 3 times with slight variations on the tax office records so which address do I actually put down seeing as it was the same residence?

    Thanks for any help! :)

Put down all the ones you know. Don't leave any large gaps in time. If you don't have the exact addresses give town/city.

The Garda chack is not a memory test. They just want to check your name and addresses vs the Garda database.

Don't worry about spelling variations.... just make sure you get it right.
