i5 with 6g of Ram or i7 with 4g RAM?

    Hi,

    I've found two variations of the same laptop model, one has an Intel i5 with 6 gigabytes of RAM while the other has an i7 with 4 gigabytes of Ram. Both have the same graphics cards, an nVIDIA GeForce GT 330Mm with 1g.

    I'm wondering which is better to buy? I do a bit of gaming so performance is important but I'd mostly be using this for everyday tasks. Thanks.

    i7.

    What are the processors exactly?

    RAM is easily upgradable, processors are not!

    Hi,

    they are the Core i5-480M 2.66GHz and the Core i7-720QM.

    I'm just after reading that the i7 gets quite hot and uses a lot of battery, although I probably won't be running intense programs without it being plugged in.

    I would go for the I7. Neither of these laptops are going to have a good battery life.

    i7, ram can be upgradded down the line...
