I cannot recommend Madagascar on BBC2 any higher. Simply superb. Narrated by David Attenborough, so that always adds a bit of class. The scenery is worth watching if for alone. Simply stunning. The camera shot of animals in their habitats were breath taking. It has shown trees that are nearl 1000 years old to a tortoise that was 180 years old.

It really was a class documentary, and I'd highly recommend it!

Love Attenborough. That man could tell me during a documentary that the moon is made of wood and I'd still believe him, his voice is hypnotic for nature docs.

I watched the 1st episode last night and really enjoyed it, looked stunning in HD. Really bizarre animals and insects living in Madagascar as well as the water-holding trees.

Grabbing beer and a Subway after work so I can watch the 2nd episode tonight :D

I saw the first episode lastnight too, it's amazing. I'm a nature programme freak anyway but this one is just breathtaking. Attenborough has such a comforting voice too, like someone you've grown up with. It's a great documentary.
