FG come top for academics

Interesting reading. SFs illogical economic policy mean they finish last but FG are clear favourites (scoring a 1.1) with Labour in second (2.1). If people are adament that this election should be fought and won on policies, and not on soundbite ridden debates, then this policy analysis strongly advocates a vote for FG

The Scorecard is based solely on political reform, economic policy has nothing to do with it.

Still, interesting results.

Yes, you have to ADD Sinn Fein's hilarious 'economic policies' to this as they are not included. That pushes them from last place to...more last.

The news tonight said SF couldn't be scored correctly until they published their reform plans tomorrow.

Where do economic policies come into this at all?

They don't, the people behind it are political scientists etc interested in political reform for obvious reasons.

I'm sure the academics that made this site think it is important but the wider public will pay no attention to this whatsoever. A bit interesting but nothing really groundbreaking.

That was aimed at the OP who brought economics into it to explain SF's score of 26.
