Yeah whats up with that?...I thought the fees had been waived until next September and clamping would be phased in.

So much for making this semester better than the last one... I just missed the deadline for my first assignment.

Though, on the plus side, yay for student advantage!

Does anyone know whats the story for someone who fails a module due to attendance?

Can they repeat in August or is it a case of repeating the year? It's also an essay based module!

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 7,645 ✭✭✭Daemos

You know those days when every little thing annoys you and you feel like doing sweet fcuk all? Having one of them today. Of all the days to have to go to Student Records, the Fees & Grants office, and show up at a tutorial with the group work and hope I haven't screwed it up for everyone else

Argh, somebody make it stop!

I think it depends on the department, like the german one gives an automatic 0 if attendance drops below 70% whereas other departments are more lenient...but I'm not sure :P

I'm asking what happens to those who fail sue to attendance. Can they repeat the module in August or do they have to do the whole year again?

Voting is in Arts Block until 6:30pm. You need your student card.

Today's referendum is more important than most people realise. Decisions are made by those who show up. I am personally asking you to show up.

In all seriousness, has anyone given any legitimate reasons not to vote yes? Can't see this not getting passed tbh.

Sorry mcrbaby, I misread what you asked, I dunno that then :P

    Good job :)

It's not that it might get too many 'no' votes, it's quorum. Enough people have to vote for it to count.
