I think for 90% of adult men it would be not having to go into a newsagents nervous and red faced in order to pick up a copy of a certain magazine from the top shelf.

But most importantly it's a great source of truth (particularly in political matters) in a country where RTE and our newspapers effectively grovel to, and serve as propaganda machines to the ruling Fianna Fail party.

The internet cannot be controlled nor censored, which must be an awful inconvience for some of the more malevolent forces in Irish life such as Fianna Fail and the Catholic Church.
