Hope you can help, problem with electrics on dash of Octavia

Starts off with hand brake light flashing on for a split second which sets of warning buzzer, develops into handbrake light,steering light and ESP warning lights and normally finishes with dash loosing all power and dials going out of control, go over a bump and everything returns to normal for a period.

Would it be as simple as a loose connection somewhere or could it be something more serious,

Sounds like a connection. Although the earlier one's suffered from dash problems.
